KUALA LUMPUR - Najib Tun Razak to congratulate and applaud the Malaysian football team managed to retain the SEA Games gold medal after beating Indonesia in the final tonight.
The Prime Minister said, all Malaysians are happy with the success and enthusiasmshown that the national team.
"Like to congratulate the Malaysian team! I and the people very happy. They have beenplaying vigorously," he said in a Twitter message earlier.
In the final at Bung Karno Stadium in Indonesia turbulence, Malaysia beat Indonesia 4-3 on penalties.
The two teams tied 1-1 after extra time.
Indonesia as early as the fifth minute lead before Malaysia equalized 30 minutes later.
