Terengganu, Johor began flooding






KUALA LUMPUR - Heavy rains in recent years, resulting in some countries, especially Terengganu and Johore, began to be flooded.

Since two days ago, three districts in Terengganu, the Setiu, Hulu Terengganu and Marang, there began to be flooded so that the population displaced.
As of 3 pm yesterday, three-han peminda center opened to house 12 families, involving 47 victims were transferred after their homes flooded.
Security Assistant Secretary (Information) Security Council Affairs, Ahmad Redza Arshad said, in Setiu, 30 victims were transferred to the Masjid Kampung Merbau declined since 8 am.
"In Hulu Terengganu, evacuation centers opened at village hall Outdoor, Ajil involving 13 people, while in Marang was in High School Base Get in four people," he said.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department yesterday issued heavy rain warnings for the orange level Loka, Setiu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Kemaman, Hulu Terengganu and Dungun.
The statement said intermittent rain at times heavy is expected to continue until this Thursday (24 November) and it will cause flooding in areas of lower rank.
In Johor Bahru, the total of 495 people from 119 families from Kampung Laut and Kampung Poh Chee Leng here, moved to the flood relief centers opened at the National School (SK) Skudai Batu 10, here today.
