Thailand remains the sepak takraw

MISSION takraw national team took the gold medal men's team event from Thailandfailed after they lost 12-21, 19-21 in the final action at the Sports Haizhu, Guangzhouyesterday afternoon.

National squads lined Normanizam Ahmad (skipper), Futra Abd. Gary (right wedge) and Farhan Adam (left wedge) stuck with the game of Thailand until the cause they lost the first set easily.

But Ahmad, who met after the game yesterday said that he would only resign after all thecommitment is completed.

"I'm not saying that will step down immediately but I will quit on their own land. Not goodif I put the post in place.

"Let me finish my responsibilities, especially prior to the first World Cup in KualaLumpur in July next year.

"After that, I leave to the Supreme Council of PSM to determine my position," saidAhmad yesterday.
